About the artist:

Al Johnson is a musical genius. He sings, writes, arranges, produces and plays a variety of instruments, and performs with the skill and stage charisma of the best. He was the lead voice and performer of The UNIFICS. He teamed up with R&B artist Jean Carne on the 1980's hit single "I'm Back for More". He arranged album cuts for Motown artists Tata Vega and Bloodstone, mainstream artists Terry Huff and Special Delivery, Bobby Thurston, RCA star Evelyn King, and jazz impresario Norman Connors. Al, also, wrote and co-produced for the Whispers and Roberta Flack. He is the band director for Lloyd Price and sings lead and co-produces for Jeff Majors.
